I took some time off from writing. I’m back and ready to take on 2015!
Today, I’m submitting two short stories from my short story collection to The New Yorker and Glimmer Train. The hope would be to publish about four or five stories before I pitch the book. Wish me luck!
I am submitting a short story to American Short Fiction today. Fingers crossed.
The agent and I were finally able to speak about the manuscript. She suggested some revisions. I’m thankful for her guidance.
We’re moving closer to the finish line.
My second project is a collection of short stories. I’ve written 70% of the first draft. I hope to complete it by the end of summer.
Thanks everyone for your support.
I finished the manuscript. In a minute, I will hit “send”.
I’m in the third draft. I’ll be finished soon. Please stay tuned.
6 more chapters left to write. I should have a manuscript ready for submission by mid-February.
The Atlanta Writers Conference was this weekend. I pitched to two agents and both wanted to see my work. One of the agents also awarded me “Best Pitch”. Everything that happened was unexpected. My head is still spinning.
